Classical Guitar Lessons
Anthony DeMers offers private classical guitar lessons for children and adults, from beginners through advanced players. With more than 20 years of teaching experience, he combines clear technical guidance with careful attention to tone, reading, interpretation, and musical expression.
Lessons are shaped around each student’s age, experience, and goals. Anthony’s approach is patient, structured, and personal, helping students build reliable technique while developing an individual musical voice.
Lessons are available in person at Studio 13 in the Pacific Grove Art Center and online through Zoom. The studio remains near capacity, so scheduling may require advance planning; all inquiries are welcome.

Tuition & enrollment. Private lessons are weekly, 30 or 60 minutes, in person at the studio in the Pacific Grove Art Center or online via Zoom. Tuition is $240 per month for weekly 30-minute lessons and $480 per month for weekly hour lessons, due on the 1st of each month. The studio runs near capacity year-round. New students are enrolled from the waitlist as weekly times open, so the list is the way in. Anthony gets in touch directly when a weekly time comes free. Full studio policies are here.
