Anthony DeMers builds classical guitars by hand in Pacific Grove, California. His work as a performer and teacher informs each instrument, with close attention to tone, balance, responsiveness, and the practical needs of the player.

Because each instrument is made entirely by hand, custom guitars are available by commission only. Commissions begin at $9,000, with a current estimated lead time of two years. A deposit reserves your place in the build schedule. From there, wood selection, design details, and tonal goals are considered together before the first cut.

Each guitar is made for an individual musician, whether intended for concert performance, study, or a personal collection. The result is an instrument shaped through conversation, careful material choices, and patient handwork.
